Gillett Evernham Motorsports Divisions

Since opening the doors in 1999, Gillett Evernham Motorsports has evolved into one of the premier organizations in motorsports. Gillett Evernham Motorsports now has more than 300 employees meeting the demanding and competitive needs of the race teams in a variety of series as well as providing services to the sponsors and enterprises that support the teams. Gillett Evernham Motorsports encompasses six separate businesses, including:


Team Headquarters/Race Facilities

Based in Statesville, NC, Gillett Evernham Motorsports headquarters consists of three facilities, totaling some 165,000 square feet of space. Here, team members meticulously design, build, prepare and maintain all of the race cars, pit equipment and haulers during the season. The facilities feature state-of-the-art areas for engineering and advanced manufacturing. The headquarters are also home to the administrative personnel and executive staff that plan and implement the business objectives of the organization.


Dodge Research and Development Center

Based at the team headquarters in Statesville, NC, the Dodge R&D Technology Center is the North Carolina branch of Dodge's Technology Center in Auburn Hills, Mich. Here, Dodge engineers collect data from the Dodge race teams to evaluate performance and develop improvements in engine, aero and chassis performance.


Museum and Gift Shop

Also located at the team headquarters, the Museum and Gift Shop offers race fans a historical tour through the careers of Ray Evernham, Bill Elliott, Elliott Sadler, Erin Crocker and Kasey Kahne. Visitors can view cars being assembled by team members and purchase Gillett Evernham Motorsports souvenirs to add to their collections.


Gillett Evernham Engines

Powerful engines are the core of Gillett Evernham Motorsports winning performance. The engine development on the R5-P7 Dodge Magnum 5.9-liter engine is performed at Gillett Evernham Engines in Concord, N.C. From innovative computer modeling systems to advance tooling equipment to full-scale dynamometers, Evernham Engines creates and builds the most competitive engines in racing. For 2008, Gillett Evernham Engines will again be providing engines for other race teams' Nationwide and Sprint Cup programs, including Petty Enterprises.


Evernham Performance Parts

For racing amateurs and car enthusiasts, Evernham Performance Parts builds and sells the parts that produce performance. Located in Concord, NC, Evernham Performance Parts is open to the public and offers the full Mopar Performance line and its own proprietary parts line.


Advanced Engine Technology

Located in Northhampton, England, Advanced Engine Technology designs and manufactures high-level quality products for the automotive industry.
